GOSPEL HYMN BOOK - MUSIC EDITION - HARDBACK

The Gospel Hymn Book has been widely used for over 100 years. In the old Gospel Hymn Book, each hymn was headed by a reference to one of several tune books, the majority of which are now unobtainable, and thus no music has been available for quite a number of hymns.

 

In compiling this tune book, an effort has been made to include as wide a variety of tunes as possible. The users may find certain hymns set to tunes other than the ones they normally use, so in some cases an alternative has been suggested. If this is not acceptable, reference should be made to the metrical index at the back of the book
