Out of love, God sent a Saviour for mankind.
This Saviour was actually His own Son, Jesus Christ. He arrived
humbly in a lowly manger in a little town called Bethlehem, bringing
light to a dark world, and hope to a lost people.
Jesus is the best ever Christmas gift!

He came to SHOW …

Jesus came to show us what God is like, in a way that we could understand and relate to.
The Bible says, “No one has seen God at any time.
The only begotten Son [Jesus] … has declared Him”John 1:18. He was described as “‘Immanuel,’ which is translated, ‘God with us’” Matthew 1:23.
Through the life of Jesus, we learn that God is holy, righteous, just, powerful, loving, merciful, caring and kind.

He came to SAVE …

The Angel, Gabriel, stated to Joseph that he should “call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” Matthew 1:21.
Our sins (the wrong things we’ve done in our lives) have separated us from God and destined us for Hell, but Jesus came to rescue us from these things by suffering and dying for our sin on a cross, before rising again on the third day. Forgiveness, eternal life and a home in Heaven are now available to us through
personal faith in Him!

He came to SATISFY …

Jesus came to restore those who trust in Him to a life-changing, personal relationship with God. He came that people might “have life … more abundantly [in all its fullness]” John 10:10. Through Him we can have peace and contentment, meaning and purpose, joy
and hope, in our lives today.
